     Mr. Davidson,

    How regrettable that you could call any of your neighbors a toothache (Gerretson Decision Gets Mixed Reviews - Monday, February 23, 2004 Lindsay Post). By your reckoning, constituents in your ward who voted YES in the election are "really bad toothaches" as well, and they comprised very close to half of those who voted - 1052 of 2122 voters. Perhaps they should "pare down our city'' and remove themselves from your ward .

    More people voted YES than voted for you.

    History is full of leaders who thought removing undesirable elements from society would cure the ills of their homelands. I hope you don't think following in their footsteps is the final solution.
